Broncos Host Aztecs to Close Regular Season

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State women's basketball team hosts San Diego State at ExtraMile Arena, Sunday at 1 p.m.
The game will mark the final matchup in Mountain West round-robin play for the Broncos (12-8, 9-8 Mountain West). A victory for Boise State would give the Broncos 10 conference wins for the eighth-straight season.
Sunday's game will be the final one at home for Boise State redshirt-senior Mallory McGwire. She enters the contest with 1,055-career points (Oregon and Boise State combined). A native of Reno, Nev., McGwire has 16 double-doubles in her career, includng 13 in Blue and Orange. Her 1.48 blocks per game and 8.3 rebounds per game rank third and fourth, respectively on Boise State's career list. McGwire is averaging 8.7 rebounds per game, including a career-high 20 at UNLV, Feb. 11.
San Diego State (7-15, 5-11) captured the opener of the two-game series 74-72, scoring the last-seven points in Thursday's matchup.
