Broncos Dominate in Opening Meet of Season
LAS VEGAS – Boise State track and field made its 2020-21 outdoor-season debut, Saturday at the UNLV Spring Invitational Sheila Tarr-Smith Multis.

In their first meet in over 650 days, the Broncos turned in a strong showing, including 12 personal bests and four event wins.
Â
Sophomore Chip Mitchell started things off for the Broncos, running in the 400-meter dash. He earned a second–place finish with a time of 49.81 just .06 off his personal best.

In the women's 800m, junior MaLeigha Menegatti secured the first win of the season for Boise State, clocking a personal best of 2:09.99. Seniors Jose Rubio and Ryan Cavinta added a one-two finish in the men's 400m hurdles.

Both the men's and women's 4x400m relay teams took home the top spot with times of 3:17.27 and 3:46.67, respectively.
