Oladipo Notches Freshman of the Week Honors

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State safety Seyi Oladipo was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week, the conference announced, Monday. This recognition follows Oladipo's multiple-interception performance in Friday's 54-13 victory over UTEP.
Against the Miners, Oladipo notched his first and second career interceptions, accounting for two of the Broncos' six takeaways.
He recorded his first interception late in the second quarter, returning it 52 yards to set up a Boise State touchdown drive. Minutes into the second half, Oladipo grabbed his second interception, returning this one for 31 yards.
The Centennial, Colo., native also logged one tackle, a five-yard tackle-for-loss, and a pass break-up.
Next, Boise State (1-1, 0-0 MW) faces Oklahoma State (2-0, 0-0 Big 12) Saturday at 7 p.m. MT on FS1.
