RENO, Nev. – Paige Bartsch and Lauren Ohlinger combined for 37 kills to lead Boise State past Nevada 3-1 (25-23, 25-23, 21-25, 25-13) in a Mountain West volleyball match at Reno. The Broncos improved to 11-4 overall and 3-1 in league with the win, while the Wolf Pack moved to 7-8 and 1-3.

The match was a battle for the first three sets before the Broncos clinched it with a decisive fourth winning it by 12 points. In all, they combined for 31 ties and 12 lead changes in the contest.

Boise State outhit Nevada .225 percent to .177 percent and had 59 kills to the Wolf Pack's 53, led in blocks nine to four and in service aces nine to three.

BRONCO LEADERS

Bartsch recorded her fourth contest with 20-plus kills finishing with 21 to go with two service aces, five blocks (two solos) and a team-high 26.5 points. She also hit .333 percent in the contest.
Ohlinger added 16 kills and four service aces for 20 points.
Ashley Hayden distributed 48 assists from the setter position.

NOTABLES

Three Broncos recorded double-doubles on the day Bartsch (21 kills, 17 digs), Ohlinger (16 kills, 10 digs) and Hayden (48 assists, 17 digs). It is the sixth double-double of the season for Ohlinger, fourth for Bartsch and fifth for Hayden.
Bartsch has reached double-figure kills in 12 of 13 matches played this season, Ohlinger in 10 of 14, and for the 64th time in her career.
Boise State is 7-0 when holding the opponent to below .200 percent hitting.
The Broncos increased their series lead over the Wolf Pack to 37-29 and 31-27 in conference matches all-time.
