- On how the team fought back in the final two sets. "I think serving was super critical for us. Fresno hasn't been a great team in serve receive, and we serve really well home. I think that definitely gave us some confidence knowing that we would be able to hang just with our tough s; the girls did a really good job. I thought Allie Casillas' serve was awesome tonight."
- On players that stood out against Fresno State. "I think offensively, Jordan (Miller) played really well. She looked a little tentative at the beginning, so I told her you got to keep going for it. You can't be tentative swinging off their hands, and I thought she did a good job of turning that around. I also think that Allie (Casillas) and Lauren (Ohlinger) did a good job for us in the backcourt."
- On how it felt to get a win in the head coach's chair. "It feels good. I just really focused on doing my job, what I do normally day to day; and Hayley (Peterson) and Brindl (Langley) did a great job assisting. But we're very excited to get Shawn back."
- On the team fighting back in the last two sets. "Communication, it's a tangible that we can control and I think that's something that we've been focusing on. I think at the beginning of the season, it was a little bit stressful in those situations, and we didn't really capitalize on them. I feel like as time goes on, and as the season continues, we're getting better at this next point is ours, and we're going to do everything in our power to make that happen."
- Jordan Miller recorded a team-high 13 kills while hitting .296 percent; she added one block assist and finished with a team-best 13.5 points.
- Paige Bartsch added a double-double on 10 kills and team-high 13 digs, with three block assists to finish with 11.5 points.
- Head coach Shawn Garus missed the match due to illness leaving associate head coach Candy Murphy in charge of the Broncos.
- Lauren Ohlinger had six kills in the match to move her career mark to 1,197, 12 short of tying for sixth all-time on the Bronco career list.
- Allison Casillas tallied 11 digs to reach the career milestone of 1,000.
- Boise State tied the series with Fresno State at 21 wins apiece.
