All five starters score in double figures
BOISE, Idaho – Boise State's offense came out roaring on all cylinders in an 87-69 win over Utah Valley, Saturday at ExtraMile Arena.
The Broncos (3-2) made nine of their first 11 shots including eight points from Chibuzo Agbo as a part of a 10-point Boise State run that helped build an early 23-10 advantage. Agbo finished the half with 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field and 4-of-5 from downtown as the Broncos carried a 44-33 lead into the locker room.
Naje Smith came alive for 17 points in the second half as Boise State kept the pressure on the Wolverines (3-4), maintaining a double-digit lead the remainder of the game. 12-straight points from Boise State surrounding the final media timeout helped the Broncos build their largest lead of the night at 23.
