FRESNO, Calif. – Boise State's volleyball team fell 3-1 (25-10, 25-20, 23-25, 25-15) at Fresno State on Saturday in a Mountain West match at the Save Mart Center. The loss drops the Blue and Orange to 14-11 overall and 6-8 in conference play.

Boise State struggled early in the match as Fresno State used an early 7-0 run to take control of set one and hand the Broncos a 15-point loss.

The Broncos led set two nearly the entire way until the Bulldogs rallied from 20-18 down with a 7-0 run to close it out by five points 25-20.

The third set saw 13 ties and eight lead changes before it was decided. Trailing 23-22, Boise State rallied with a 3-0 run to take it on Nicole Jacob's service ace.

The fourth set belonged to the Bulldogs who went out to an early 4-1 lead, then held the Broncos off for the win.

Top Broncos

Lauren Ohlinger finished with a team-high 15 kills to go with one service ace, nine digs and team-best 16 points.
Jordan Miller had nine kills while hitting .304 percent.
Paige Bartsch hit a team-high .412 percent for nine kills with one ace, three digs, two blocks and 11.5 points.

Notables

Ohlinger's 15 kills give her 16 matches with double-digit kills and moved her career kills total to 1,314 as she inches closer to second on the all-time list.
Ohlinger's service ace against the Bulldogs gave her a career total of 131 moving her into a tie for seventh on the all-time list; it extended her record for the rally scoring era.
Fresno State takes the advantage in the all-time series by a 22-21 margin, and an 11-10 edge in contests played in Fresno.
