THE MEET
24th-ranked Boise State gymnastics hosts its final regular-season home event of the year, welcoming No. 21 Utah State. The meet will serve as senior night for the seven Bronco seniors.

WHAT THE NUMBERS SAY
The Boise State vault rotation has consistently improved over the course of the season. In every meet thus far the Broncos have improved their score on the apparatus, notching a 49.075 last weekend against BYU.

Last time out Alexis Stokes tied the program-record bar score of 9.975, becoming just the fifth gymnast to post the score while donning the Blue and Orange.

Two Broncos rank in the top-ten nationally in bars. Emily Muhlenhaupt sits tied for fourth with an average of 9.925, having scored 9.900 or better in every meet. Sophomore Emily Lopez comes in at No. 8 with an average of 9.917.

LAST TIME OUT
The 24th ranked Broncos collected at least a share of the individual titles in three of four events, but ultimately fell to No. 18 BYU for the second week in a row, this time at home 196.450-195.975.

In addition to Stokes' title on bars, three other Broncos took home individual awards. Freshman Alyssa Vulaj captured the first title of her career on vault, scoring a 9.875. Emily Lopez and Adriana Popp each scored 9.850s on beam, tying for the event title. For Lopez, the score tied a career high and was her second-career win in the event. For Popp, the victory was the fourth of her career on the apparatus.

The loss bumped Boise State to 1-2 on the year, and the same mark in conference competitions.

WEEKLY AWARDS
Stokes was named the MRGC Bars Specialist of the Week for her spectacular performance. This was the second-career specialist of the week honor for Stokes, who in 2019 was named all-conference first team and won the individual championship in the event.

ABOUT THE AGGIES
The Aggies enter the meet ranked 21st in Road to Nationals, with an overall average score of 196.142.

Utah State boasts a top-notch beam rotation that ranks 12th nationally, averaging 49.167 per contest.

Freshman Brie Clark has been one of the top performers on floor in the conference this season, earning five MRGC Floor Specialist of the Week honors.

In their last meet the Aggies tied the second-highest score in their program history, 196.800. Southern Utah came out on top of the meet, edging Utah State with a 196.975.
