De Caro Captures Athlete of the Week Honors

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State track and field's Dario De Caro was named the Mountain West Track Athlete of the Week after his performance at the Fresno State Invitational in Clovis, Calif., April 30.
The senior won the 5,000-meter invitational race, shattering his personal-best time by nearly 12 seconds and posting the fourth-fastest mark in Bronco history with a time of 13:45.56.
His mark ranks fifth in the conference.
Next, championship season begins with the MW Championships in Fresno Calif., May 11-14. The NCAA Prelims will be held in Fayetteville, Ark., May 25-28, and the NCAA Outdoor Championships is slated for June 8-11 in Eugene, Ore.
