Boise State Falls In First Road Test

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Boise State women's soccer fell to Oregon State 2-0 in its first road contest of the 2022 season.
The Broncos started the match strong, outshooting the Beavers six to five in the first half, including a breakaway opportunity in the 15th minute by Carly Cross that was saved by Oregon State's Hailey Coll.
The Beavers' McKenna Matrinez opened the scoring on the night with her goal in the 32nd minute that put the Broncos down 1-0 going into halftime. Martinez continued her scoring efforts in the second half with a difficult shot from the right side of the penalty box.
