
Broncos Take Top Honors in Season Opener

SPRINGVILLE, Utah – The Boise State women's golf team finished atop the leaderboard in its season-opening tournament at the Hobble Creek Fall Classic, Sept. 12-13, clearing the competition by 18 strokes.
The Broncos' score of 883 (299-293-291, +31) is the seventh-lowest 54-hole total in program history and the team's final-round score ties for the ninth-lowest single-round total of all time.
Junior Hyeji (Emma) Yang led the Broncos, carding rounds of 77-70-73 (+7) to garner her second-career top-five finish, and in her collegiate debut, freshman Leia Chung shot 8-over par en route to tying for sixth place.
