Wilsey Claims MW Freshman of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State forward Hayden Wilsey has been named the Mountain West Soccer Freshman of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
Wilsey, a Boise native, needed less than two minutes to score in the Broncos' 3-1 victory over Pac-12 Oregon, Sunday. The forward started up front in both of the Broncos' matches this weekend, playing 93 minutes.
The freshman has burst onto the scene for Boise State, scoring three goals in three starts this season. Wilsey is tied for the team lead in goals with Morgan Stone, and the pair have combined to score 66.7-percent of Bronco goals this season.
Up next for Boise State is a road trip to California to take on UC Davis (Sept. 8) and CSU Bakersfield (Sept. 11).
