LARAMIE, Wyo. – Five Broncos scored in double figures for the third-straight game as Boise State men's basketball used a high-powered offense to cruise to a 85-68 road victory over Wyoming, Saturday night.

The Broncos (14-4, 4-1 MW) shot 50% from the field en-route to scoring 41 first-half points, the third time in the last four games the Broncos have scored 40-or-more in the opening 20 minutes. The Cowboys (5-12, 0-5 MW) made the game's first basket, but Boise State took the lead with 17:33 left in the first half and would maintain it for the rest of the game. The Broncos made each of their final five shots of the half and took an eight-point advantage with them into halftime.

Boise State came out of halftime by knocking down three-straight buckets from downtown to create a 9-0 scoring run that stretched the lead to 15 before the first media timeout. A 7-0 run four minutes later put the Bronco lead into 20-point territory for the first time with 13:36 left on the clock. Boise State held its largest lead of the night at 24 with just two minutes remaining before Wyoming claimed the final seven points of the game.

Marcus Shaver, Jr. stuffed the stat sheet for 10 points, nine assists and eight rebounds. Nine assists ties his career-high set in 2018 during his time at Portland.
Chibuzo Agbo finished the night with 18 points on 4-of-8 shooting from downtown and nine rebounds.
Naje Smith scored 18 points thanks to a career-high four triples, while also chipping in seven rebounds.
Max Rice knocked down seven of his 10 field-goal attempts for 17 points to go along with five rebounds.

The Broncos scored 80+ points in three straight Mountain West games for the first time since Jan. 8-13, 2021: Air Force (80) and Wyoming (83, 90).
Max Rice scored 12 points (5-of-6 shooting) and has now reached double figures in the first half six times this season.
