
Broncos Cruise To Victory In Laramie

LARAMIE, Wyo. – Five Broncos scored in double figures for the third-straight game as Boise State men's basketball used a high-powered offense to cruise to a 85-68 road victory over Wyoming, Saturday night.
The Broncos (14-4, 4-1 MW) shot 50% from the field en-route to scoring 41 first-half points, the third time in the last four games the Broncos have scored 40-or-more in the opening 20 minutes. The Cowboys (5-12, 0-5 MW) made the game's first basket, but Boise State took the lead with 17:33 left in the first half and would maintain it for the rest of the game. The Broncos made each of their final five shots of the half and took an eight-point advantage with them into halftime.
Boise State came out of halftime by knocking down three-straight buckets from downtown to create a 9-0 scoring run that stretched the lead to 15 before the first media timeout. A 7-0 run four minutes later put the Bronco lead into 20-point territory for the first time with 13:36 left on the clock. Boise State held its largest lead of the night at 24 with just two minutes remaining before Wyoming claimed the final seven points of the game.
