
Broncos Send Three Freshmen to USATF Cross Country Championships

RICHMOND, Va. – Boise State cross country sent three freshmen to represent the Broncos in the USATF Cross Country Championships, Saturday morning.
Samantha Wood competed in the junior women's 6k, advancing from 18th at the 3k mark to finishing 16th overall with a time of 21:42.0.
On the men's side, Trent Wigod and Jack Tolbert placed 18th and 41st, respectively, in the junior men's 8k.

Following a weekend off, the Broncos will split their crew, sending the distance squad to Seattle, Wash., for the UW Invitational, Jan. 27-28. The sprinters and jumpers will travel to Lubbock, Texas for the Texas Tech Open and Multis, Jan. 26-28.
