MADISON, Wis. - The men's cross country team captured an 18th-place finish at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational, defeating eight nationally-ranked teams to highlight the Broncos' showing at the esteemed meet.

Joe Hudson led the men's team in the A race as he traversed the 8-kilometer course in 24:11.1 for a 60th-place finish. Hudson was followed by Tom Graham-Marr (74th), Tom Patrick (77th), Josh Dickinson (124th) and Christian Graham (147th). With a team score of 483 points, Boise State finished second among Mountain West and West region teams.

Sophomore Kaiya Robertson led the Broncos with an 81st-place finish in 20:55.9 in the A race. Robertson set the pace for Autumn Ost (128th), Samantha Wood (135th), Yasmin Marghini (148th) and Naomy Lokiles (158th) as the Broncos finished 28th. 22 of the teams which finished ahead of the Broncos are ranked, and Boise State finished only 65 points behind No. 26 New Mexico.
