
MacMillan Garners MW Offensive Player of the Week Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State forward Kenzie MacMillan was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
MacMillan received the honor following her two-goal performance over the weekend against San Jose State and Fresno State, with both goals being the game winners.
In the match against the Spartans, MacMillan scored the lone goal of the match off assists from Carly Cross and Cindy Conner with just two seconds left in the first half to give the Broncos a 1-0 lead entering the break.
In the contest against Fresno State, MacMillan recorded an assist off Cross' goal in the 17th minute and extended Boise State's lead to 2-0 after ripping a shot into the back of the net off a pass from Morgan Padour in the 28th minute.Â
The Mission Viejo, Calif., native leads the active roster in career points and career goals with 40Â and 15, respectively. She also leads the conference with six assists, tied for seventh most by a Bronco in a single season, and 67 shots, fifth most by a Bronco in a single season.
The Broncos will wrap up their three-match homestand against Nevada on Thursday, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m. at Boas Soccer Complex.
