LAHAINA, Hawaii – Boise State men's golf finished a mere three strokes back of the top half of the 20-team leaderboard at the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational. The Broncos shot 842 (277-278-287, -10) to finish in a tie for 12th with Louisiana at the annual tournament.

Cole Rueck finished T-30th at 5-under on the week to lead four Broncos to shoot par-or-better for the tournament. Rueck carded rounds of 68-68-72 (208) – a 12-stroke improvement from his performance at the 2022 edition of the invitational.

NOTABLES

Boise State posted a seven-stroke improvement from its appearance at last season's Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational.
The Broncos were second in the 20-team field in par-5 scoring with an average of 4.42 (-26).
Boise State finished ahead of Power 5 opponent Colorado on the leaderboard, as well as Mountain West foes Wyoming and Air Force.
Ryan Meyer tied for the best score on par-5's in the 120-individual field (4.00, -9).
Cole Rueck's 18 birdies ranked tied for fourth in the field.
Gavyn Knight eagled twice to tie for the tournament lead in eagles.
