
Boise State Tops Pepperdine to Start Season 4-0

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's basketball came away with a 63-47 win over Pepperdine on Monday night in ExtraMile Arena. The Broncos improved to 4-0 on the season with the victory.Â

Mary Kay Naro stuffed the stat sheet, recording 12 points, eight assists, six rebounds and three steals on the night. Natalie Pasco also netted 12 points in the game while Mya Hansen added 11.Â

Making her first start with the Broncos, Alyssa Christensen scored five of the team's first seven points in the contest. Pasco finished what Christensen started, adding seven points in the opening quarter as Boise State led 18-10 after one. After the Waves (2-4) scored the first eight points of the second period to tie the game, the Broncos responded with a 12-4 run to take a 30-22 lead to the locker room.

Tatum Thompson came alive in the third quarter, scoring seven points for the Broncos in the period as the team's lead reached double digits. Pepperdine cut the lead to nine midway through the fourth quarter, but the Broncos ended the game on a 10-3 run to complete the four-game homestand with a win.
