Broncos Open Regular Season Against College of Idaho

WHAT'S NEXT

Boise State women's basketball will open the 2023-24 regular season against College of Idaho, Monday at 6:30 p.m. MT at ExtraMile Arena. The game will be broadcast on the MW Network.

LAST TIME OUT

Five Broncos scored in double figures as the squad defeated The Master's 82-58, Friday, in an exhibition contest. Trista Hull and Natalie Pasco led Boise State with 14 points each.

THE OPPONENT

The Yotes already have four games under their belt, starting the season with a 0-4 record. Boise State is 15-0 all-time against College of Idaho, with the most recent matchup being a 90-43 win on Dec. 4, 2020.

With 14 letterwinners, including all five starters, returning for the 2023-24 campaign, the Broncos retain 89.7% of the team's scoring from last year, the most in the Mountain West. Boise State finished the 2022-23 season winning eight of its last 11 games.

WHO TO WATCH

The reigning MW Defensive Player of the Year, Abby Muse, returns for her senior season. The senior was one of five players named to the 2023-24 Preseason All-Mountain West Team after earning honorable-mention honors last season. Elodie Lalotte, who also earned an honorable-mention nod a year ago, returns for her senior season after leading the team in scoring with 9.9 points per game. Dani Bayes and Natalie Pasco both return for their sophomore seasons after earning a spot on the All-MW Freshman Team last season.

CHASING 200

Head coach Gordy Presnell enters Monday's contest with 197 wins at ExtraMile Arena. With 334 victories at the helm of the Broncos, Presnell has the most wins in program history.

Boise State will have a week before its next game, a home contest against Weber State. The Broncos will take on the Wildcats on Nov. 13, at 6:30 p.m. MT in ExtraMile Arena.
