12/17/2023 4:59:00 PM | Men's Basketball

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State's offense was firing on all cylinders in an 88-65 win over Cal State Fullerton, Sunday at ExtraMile Arena.

The win is the 20th-consecutive home win for Boise State – a new program record.

The Broncos (8-3) scored 54 points in the first half – their most in any first half this season – and they shot 49% from the field and 42% from beyond the arc on the afternoon.

Chibuzo Agbo fueled Boise State's hot start with 19 first-half points. The senior guard had 12 points in the first 5:15 of the game with he and Max Rice both hit 3-pointers as the Titans (6-5) were unable to slow the Bronco offense at all.

Boise State held a 25-13 lead at the under-12 media timeout and continued to build a large enough lead to weather a slow start to the second half. Cal State Fullerton made four three-pointers to pull within 60-41.Tyson Degenhart found O'Mar Stanley for a dunk and Andrew Meadow hit a 3-pointer, followed by five-straight points from Cam Martin to regain their composure.

The Broncos never led by fewer than 21 points from that point.
