Broncos Wrap Up Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener

BOSTON – Boise State distance runners established 12 new career bests at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, Dec. 2.
 
Tom Patrick recorded the fastest Bronco 5,000-meter time on the men's side with a time of 13:53.96. He was closely followed by Joe Hudson (13:54.14) and Tom Graham-Marr (13:54.27) with sub-14 minute marks.
 
On the women's side, Kaiya Robertson led Boise State in the 5,000m with a time of 16:20.95. Julia Kiesler and Autumn Ost were the next fastest Broncos with times of 16:21.74 and 16:36.20, respectively.
 
Notables
  • This marks the first meet of the 2023-24 indoor season.
  • Boise State had 12 out 15 athletes record a new career best at the meet.
  • Three of the Broncos on the men's side (Tom Patrick,  Joe Hudson and Tom Graham-Marr) went under 14-minutes.
  • Patrick came within 3.08 seconds of entering the top five performance list in school history in the event.
