Jouhari Wins 10k at Oregon Preview

BOISE, Idaho – Mohammed Jouhari garnered a gold-medal finish in the men's 10k race to open Boise State's outdoor track & field season at the Oregon Preview, March 17-18.
 
The sophomore clocked a time of 28:51.72, setting a personal best and etching his name in the record book with the third-fastest performance in program history. His time ranks third in the NCAA.
 
The Blue and Orange also sent student-athletes to Nampa, Idaho for the Yote Icebreaker Invite, Saturday.
 
Three Broncos registered podium finishes. Freshman Megan Dunakin won the women's 400-meter race with a personal-best time of 1:02.65.
 
Freshman Khadijat Tajudeen ran a time of 26.95 in the women's 200-meter race, notching a third-place finish and a personal best.
 
On the men's side, junior Connor Bjornson placed second in the men's javelin throw with a distance of 52.96m.
