Broncos Defeated by Rams

BOISE, Idaho - Colorado State scored three runs in the seventh inning to defeat Boise State 13-11 in the series opener, Friday.
The Rams (17-8, 3-1 Mountain West) were first to get on the board in the first inning with two runs.
The Broncos (16-11, 3-1) responded with a run scored off an error in the bottom of the frame, to cut the Rams' lead 2-1.
Colorado State added eight runs in the third and fifth innings, to increase its lead 10-5.
Eliyah Flores tied the game for the Broncos with an RBI-single in the bottom of the sixth at part of a six-run rally.
Despite gaining its first lead off an RBI-single from Abby Bumcrot, Boise State was unable to answer the Rams' three runs in the seventh inning.
Taylor Caudill (6-6) took the loss in the circle for Boise State.
