Hall Garners Player of the Week Honors

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State's Kelsey Hall earned a pair of national and the Mountain West Player of the Week awards, Tuesday.
 
Hall was tabbed NFCA and Extra Inning Softball Player of the Week to go along with her conference honor.
 
Hall batted .857 (6-for-7) with four home runs and 13 RBI. She added five walks, scored eight runs, slugged 2.714 and posted an on-base percentage of .917.
 
Her efforts led Boise State to a three-game sweep over New Mexico, in which the Broncos outscored the Lobos 40-3.
 
The Sacramento, Calif., native recorded two home runs, including a grand slam, and drove in eight runs to lead the Broncos to a 13-2 run-rule victory, April 6.
 
In the second game of the series, Hall went 3-for-4 (.750), homered twice, and knocked in five.
 
The senior helped the Broncos complete the sweep against the Lobos Saturday, April 8, walking in each of her four plate appearances in the 13-0 mercy-rule shutout.
 
This is the first Extra Inning and NFCA Player of the Week awards and second MW award of the season for Hall.
 
In her last 11 games, Hall is 20-for-29 (.690) with six doubles, seven home runs, and 35 RBI. Boise State leads the MW with a 7-1 record and is receiving votes in the USA Today/NFCA national poll.
 
The Broncos host Nevada for a doubleheader April 12, with the first game starting at noon, for their first home game since March 25.
