Broncos Outlasted by Lobos

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State battled tooth and nail for seven innings with New Mexico before a two-out error in the eighth opened the door for a seven-run inning in a 9-2 loss, Friday.

In the third, the Lobos (17-19, 5-6 MW) took a 1-0 lead in the third, but the Broncos (18-22, 4-7) answered when Skylar Stroh homered in their half of the inning.

New Mexico grabbed a 2-1 lead in the fourth, but again Boise State immediately responded. Sophia Romero singled with one out, stole second and scored on an RBI-single by Hollie Farmer.
