Broncos Split Series with Wolf Pack

Nevada (25-10, 6-5 MW) edged Boise State (21-12, 8-2) 6-5 in game one before the Broncos responded with a 9-5 victory in the nightcap.
Kelsey Hall, the reigning MW Player of the Week, hit three home runs and has seven in her last five games. Lindsey Walljasper (8-3) went the distance in game two to earn a win in the circle for the Broncos.
In game two, Serena Huchingson blasted a two-run home run in the first inning to stake Boise State to an early lead. Hall homered with a runner aboard in the fourth to increase the lead to 4-0.
After the Wolf Pack scored twice in the sixth, Boise State put up a five spot in its half of the frame, highlighted by a three-run homer from Sydney Groves.
The Wolf Pack made it interesting with a three-run seventh, but Walljasper finished a 115-pitch effort to pick up her victory at home as a Bronco.
In the opener, Boise State left a dozen runners on base in the one-run loss.
