Boise State Sweeps Three-Game Road Trip

MORAGA, Calif. - Boise State softball won 5-2 against Saint Mary's Monday afternoon to end its road trip to the Golden State undefeated.
The Broncos (24-12) were the first to get on the board when Sydney Groves knocked a solo home run in the top of the second.
The Gaels (14-18) took the lead in the bottom of the frame, recording two runs.
Kelsey Hall drove in a run with a double down the right field line in the top of the third.
In the fifth inning, Groves broke the 2-2 tie with a two-run double and Abby Bumcrot added an insurance run with an RBI-single for the Blue and Orange.
Lindsey Walljasper (10-3) pitched the final five innings, allowing no hits and striking out seven batters to earn the win in the circle.
