Broncos Garner 10 Podium Finishes

CLOVIS, Calif. - Boise State track and field garnered 10 podium finishes at the Fresno State Invitational, April 28-29.

The quartet of Emily Stefan, Anita Taviore, Isabella Ales and Alyssa Cullen opened the meet for the Broncos, earning a third-place finish in the women's 4x100-meter relay with a time of 45.30, setting a program record.Â

In the women's 1500m race, Elsa Wallenius notched her first podium finish of the season with a time of 4:30.87, capturing third.
Â
MaLeigha Menegatti won the lone individual title for the Blue and Orange, clocking a personal-best time of 4:21.07 in the women's Invitational 1500m.

Abby Kendrick and Sunitha Black closed out the night for the women with a third-place finish in the 3000m steeplechase and second-place performance in the 5000m, respectively.Â

On the men's side, Angus Fitzgerald finished in the top three in the men's 1500m with a time of 1:49.90.

Brogan Giffin earned a bronze medal, recording a time of 3:46.62 in the Invitational 1500m.

Murdoch McIntyre garnered a silver-medal finish in the 3000m steeplechase, crossing the finish line with a time of 9:05.09.

Finally, Max Milarvie rounded out the night for the Broncos, running the 5000m Invitational in 14:39.82, placing third.
