Five Broncos Tabbed All-Mountain West

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Five Boise State track & field student-athletes earned all-conference honors for their performances at the 2023 Mountain West Outdoor Track & Field Championships the conference announced, Wednesday.
To qualify for all-conference, individuals and relay teams must place in the top three of their events at the conference championship.
The Blue and Orange's five honorees accounted for six spots on the list, led by senior MaLeigha Menegatti.
Menegatti garnered two honors with her gold-medal performance in the women's 800-meter race, and third-place finish in the women's 4x400m relay.
Sophomore Alyssa Cullen and juniors Nyenuchi Okemgbo and Anita Taviore also secured all-conference status for their contributions in the women's 4x400m relay. Along with winning the bronze, the quartet also set a program record with a time of 3:39.16.
Additionally, Yasmin Marghini received honors for her third-place performance in the women's 5000m race.
Next, Boise State will travel to Sacramento, Calif., for the NCAA West Preliminaries, May 24-27.
