COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State forward Kenzie MacMillan was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

MacMillan earned the honor following her three-goal performance over the weekend against North Dakota State and North Dakota. She is the first Bronco to score three goals in the first two games of a season since Raimee Sherle in 2019.

In the match against North Dakota State, the junior put home her own rebound in the 50th minute after being denied on a tough angle from the right side, scoring the Broncos' lone goal of the match.

The Mission Viejo, Calif., native ignited the Boise State offense in its contest at North Dakota, when she knocked a shot from just outside the penalty box in the 27th minute, giving the Broncos a 1-0 lead. Moments after a goal from Carly Cross, MacMillan found the back of the net for her second goal of the match with a cross from Cross to put the Broncos up 3-0 in a two-minute and 40-second time span. The last Bronco to score twice in a half was Hayden Wilsey at CSU Bakersfield on Sept. 11, 2022.

Boise State will host BYU, Saturday, Aug. 26, at Boas Soccer Complex, with kickoff at 7 p.m. Single-game tickets for the match are sold out but season tickets are still available on BroncoSports.com/tickets. Free parking and shuttle pickup are located at 1218 W. Belmont St., with every fan receiving a free popcorn voucher for taking the shuttle.
