Broncos Add Forward

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State's women's soccer team has added forward Mia Lane to the 2026 roster from San Diego State. Lane played club soccer for CIF San Diego and attended Eastlake High School.

"Mia is an explosive athlete that will fit immediately into the style and culture to our team. She plays with such pace and passion. Bronco Nation will immediately fall in love with her. We are incredibly excited to reload for another title run, and Mia's proven ability to produce at the highest level puts us in an incredible position to do just that." Boise State Head Coach Jim Thomas said.

Lane comes to Boise State with three years of NCAA eligibility. As a freshman with the Aztecs, she appeared in 21 matches and recorded two goals and one assist.

In 2024, the Chula Vista, California native was named to the 2024 Mountain West All-Academic Team and secured Mountain West Freshman of the Week honors two times. Last season, Lane posted five goals and one assist in 20 total matches (11 points).

In her prep career, she tallied 50 goals and two assists for 102 points. Lane was named the MaxPreps Player of the Match four times.

The 5-foot-7 forward, will anchor a Boise State front line that includes Asia Lawyer and Sophie Schmautz.
