Broncos Travel to Colorado to Open Conference Play

Up Now: Boise State soccer (2-1-5) will travel to Colorado Springs, Colo., to open conference play against Colorado College on Thursday at 6 p.m. MT.

Last Time Out: Boise State ended nonconference play with a 1-1 draw against Oregon on Sept. 14 at Boas Soccer Complex. In the 14th minute of the match, Carly Cross knocked in her fifth goal of the season, with assists from Genevieve Crenshaw and Kenzie MacMillan, to give the Broncos a 1-0 lead. The score held up until the 51st minute when Oregon netted one, squaring the match at one apiece.

Scouting the Tigers: Colorado College enters the match with a 0-6-1 record after losing 3-0 to Arizona State on Sept. 15 in Tempe, Ariz. The Broncos hold a slight 4-3-2 all-time advantage, with a 3-2-1 advantage when in Colorado Springs.

Scouting the Falcons: Boise State will face Air Force on Sunday, Sept. 24 in USAFA, Colo. The Falcons enter the week with a 3-4-0 record after losing 2-1 to Washington on Sept. 16 at Cadet Soccer Stadium. The Broncos hold an 8-5-1 all-time advantage, with a 6-4-1 advantage in conference play.

One Away: Goalkeeper Genevieve Crenshaw is tied for third all-time at Boise State with 17 shutouts. Her next clean sheet will break a tie with current assistant coach, Liz Ruiz and tie the school record.

In Good Form: With their draw against the Ducks on Sept. 14, the Broncos wrapped up nonconference play undefeated (0-0-4) against all Pac-12 opponents faced this season.
