BOISE, Idaho – Boise State soccer won 3-1 against Wyoming, Thursday night at the Boas Soccer Complex to open Mountain West play on a three-match unbeaten streak.
The Broncos (4-1-6, 2-0-1 Mountain West) opened the scoring when a pass by Carly Cross found the feet of Kenzie MacMillan for a Bronco goal in the 13th minute for a 1-0 lead.
The Blue and Orange continued to find goals in the second half when MacMillan knocked in her fifth goal of the season in the 62nd minute, and Cross took a ball and smashed it into the left side of the net in the 82nd minute.
Despite a penalty goal by Nikayla Copenhaver for the Cowgirls (4-5-3, 0-3-0 MW) in the 89th minute of the match, the Broncos walked away victorious.
