
Broncos Meet Beavers in Boise

Up Now: Boise State soccer (2-1-3) will host Oregon State Sunday, Sept. 10 at 1 p.m. at Boas Soccer Complex.
Last Time Out: Forward Carly Cross scored three goals in the Broncos' 4-3 victory against Eastern Washington on Thursday, Sept. 7. Cross came in hot, knocking in a cross from Morgan Padour in the fifth minute. Less than five minutes later, the junior found the back of the net again off an assist from Kenzie MacMillan inside the penalty box. The Broncos extended their lead to 3-0 in the 21st minute when a cross from MacMillan found the foot of Padour. The Eagles cut the lead to 3-1 just before the end of the half and opened the second half with a quick goal. Moments later, Cross responded with a shot from deep range to give the Broncos a 4-2 lead.
Scouting the Beavers: Oregon State enters the match with a 3-2-1 record after winning 3-2 against UC Irvine on Thursday, Sept. 7 in Corvallis, Ore. The Beavers hold a 3-0-1 all-time advantage against the Broncos with the draw coming in a double-overtime match at Missoula, Mont., on Sept. 21, 2007.
Season Tickets: Boise State soccer will host six more home matches in addition to Sunday's match during the 2023 season. Alumni Reunion: The Broncos' Alumni match is Sunday against Oregon State, Sept. 10, with a recognition at the half. Kickoff is at 1 p.m., with the tailgate taking place at noon.
Location and Parking: Free parking and shuttle pickup are located at 1218 W. Belmont St., with every fan receiving a free small popcorn.
Conference Honors: Bronco goalkeeper Genevieve Crenshaw was named the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week. Crenshaw earned the honor for her defensive efforts against Arizona State and Arizona over the weekend. The senior made five saves on six shots on goal and played the full 90 minutes of each match, helping the Broncos to a pair of draws and their first shutout of the season.
