Boise State Track and Field to Travel to New Mexico and Washington

The Boise State track and field team will split this weekend (Jan. 26-27) as the distance runners head to the UW Invitational in Seattle, Wash., while the sprinters and jumpers will travel to the New Mexico Team Open in Albuquerque, N.M.

Notables:

The UW Invitational will take place at Dempsey Indoor in Seattle, Wash. The team will send the distance runners to the two-day event starting on Friday, Jan. 25.
The New Mexico Team Open will take place at the Albuquerque Convention Center. This two-day meet will begin on Friday, Jan. 25 as the team sends the sprinters and jumpers.
Last time out at the Spokane Indoor Challenge (Jan. 13), Janiah Brown garnered a first-place finish in the women's 800-meter, with a time of 2:10.48. Anass Mghari highlighted the sprinters' performance on the men's side, finishing second in the men's 800m in 1:54.15.
Tom Graham-Marr notched a podium finish in the men's 3,000-meter as he placed third with a time of 8:01.98 at the UW Indoor Preview (Jan. 13). Kaiya Robertson led the way for the women, coming in 19th in the 3,000m with a time of 9:28.02.
