LEWISTON, Idaho – The Boise State women's cross country team claimed the championship at the LC State Invitational and were led by Naomy Lokiles who secured the individual title. The Broncos dominated the podium, placing runners in first, second and third, defeating runner-up Idaho by 28 points.
 
Naomy Lokiles (16:59), Bianca Boehnke (17:03), and Amit Koma (17:06) pushed the pace as the top three finishers in the race. Lauren Larson (17:17, 6th) and Sunitha Black (17:45, 20th) also delivered strong performances, contributing to the team win.
 
Braylon Baggett (25:56) and Jake Drever (25:31) represented the Boise State men in Lewiston, finishing 53rd and 39th, respectively.

  • "The women put together a really strong performance today," said coach Emma Wren. "They did a great job working together as a team and moving up throughout the race, ultimately showing their ability to go one through three."

  • This is the women's first team victory of the season, and Boise State's second.
