COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Genevieve Crenshaw and Jillian Anderson have been named Mountain West Defensive Player and Freshman of the Week, respectively, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

This marks the fourth and fifth MW weekly award for the women's soccer team. The duo picked up their weekly awards as they helped lead Boise State to two wins over the weekend, clinching a spot in the conference championship tournament.

Crenshaw played the full 90 minutes in both matches this weekend, recording shutouts over Air Force (1-0) and Colorado College (2-0) along with nine saves. This is the goalkeeper's first honor of the season and fifth of her career.

Anderson earned the weekly accolade after recording 132 minutes of action over two starts. The freshman was credited with the game-winning assist in the sixth minute in the 1-0 victory over Air Force. This marks Anderson's second MW weekly award of the season.

The Broncos will return to action Thursday, Oct. 24 at 8 p.m. MT as they travel to Reno, Nevada, to face the Wolf Pack. The team will return to Boise the following Sunday for the last home match of the season to host UNLV at 1 p.m. MT.
