Broncos Travel to Colorado State and Wyoming
The Boise State volleyball team (10-5, 2-2 MW) is on the road this week traveling to Colorado State (8-6, 4-0 MW) on Thursday and Wyoming (9-5, 1-3 MW) on Saturday. Boise State is in a six-way-tie for third in the conference standings, while CSU leads, and Wyoming is tied for ninth. ÂQuick Links

- THURSDAY:Â Boise State opens the week at Colorado State with a 7 p.m. (Mountain) first serve at Fort Collins in Moby Arena. The Rams have won five straight, including their first four league matches. They defeated San Jose State 3-0 and Fresno State 3-1 at home last week. CSU leads the all-time series with Boise State 22-3; they split last year with the home team winning each time. Â
- SATURDAY:Â The Broncos will close the week at Laramie on Saturday inside Arena-Auditorium on the Wyoming campus, with first serve scheduled for 7 p.m. (MT) following their football game. The Cowgirls are 1-3 in MW play, which includes a loss at home last week to Fresno State (3-2) followed by a home forfeit to San Jose State. Wyoming holds a slim 18-17 lead in the series following a series split last year when the home teams won.

- LAST WEEK: Boise State won a pair of home matches, defeating Air Force 3-1, followed by a sweep of New Mexico. Paige Bartsch led the team with a high of 24 kills while hitting .225 with three service aces, 17 digs, fives and a team-best 29.5 points. Annie Kaminski added 18 kills while hitting a team-best .444 percent to go with a team-high 16 blocks and 26.5 points. Anabel Kotzakov matched Kaminski's kill total and added two service aces, 18 digs, four blocks, and 22 points. The team outhit its opponents .216 to .075 percent and held a 20 to nine advantage in service aces and a 26 to 11 edge in blocks.
- TOP BRONCOS:Â On the year, Boise State is led by senior Paige Bartsch; the Helena, Montana, native is averaging 3.51 kills (6th MW), 0.53 service aces (3rd MW / 29th NCAA), and 4.4 points per set (5th MW). Sixth year, Annie Kaminski is hitting .395 percent (4th MW / 34th NCAA) and averaging 2.45 kills, a team-high 1.24 blocks (5th MW).
- BOISE STATE AS A TEAM:Â On the year, Boise State is hitting .211 percent (6th MW) while holding opponents to .179 (3rd MW). The Broncos are fourth in assists at 12.06 per set, fourth in kills at 13.00, fourth in blocks at 2.47, first in service aces at 2.43 (2nd NCAA), and second in digs at 15.10. They are also 10th nationally for total service aces at 124.
- MW FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK:Â Boise State freshman Kiki Remensperger has been named the MW Freshman of the Week twice on Sept. 2 and Oct. 7.
- PRESEASON MW HONORS:Â Paige Bartsch, the MW Co-Player of the Year in 2023, was named the 2024 MW Preseason Player of the Year for the second time (2022, 2024) in her career.
