BOISE, Idaho – After helping Boise State take down Clemson at home on Sunday with a double-double performance, Tyson Degenhart was named the Mountain West Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 17, the conference announced on Monday.

Degenhart picked up his first career MW Player of the Week honor after scoring a team-high 20 points and grabbing 11 rebounds against Clemson to lead the Broncos to an 84-71 win.

Degenhart averaged 15.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in the two games last week as the Broncos defeated Corban, 100-65, in addition to the 13-point win over Clemson. The senior shot 78.6% (11-of-14) from the field and 88.9% (8-of-9) from the free throw line.

While this is Degenhart's first MW Player of the Week award of his career, it is his 10th weekly honor from the conference as he was named the MW Freshman of the Week nine times in 2021-22.

Degenhart is the first Bronco to earn the conference's player of the week award since Max Rice earned the accolade on Feb. 5, 2024.

Boise State is off to a 3-1 start to open this season and will return to action with the Cayman Islands Classic starting on Sunday. The Broncos face Hampton to open the tournament on Sunday (9 am MT) before playing the winner of South Dakota State and Duquesne on Nov. 25.
