Broncos Cruise Past Bushnell in Exhibition Contest

BOISE, Idaho - Three players scored in double figures as Boise State women's basketball raced past Bushnell, 87-38, in an exhibition contest on Saturday.
Teryn Gardner had an impressive performance in her Bronco debut, scoring a team-high 15 points and pulling down five rebounds. The freshman finished 6-of-11 from the field and 3-of-6 from beyond the arc. Tatum Thompson added a double-double for the squad, finishing with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Elodie Lalotte shot 5-of-7 from the field to finish with 10 points. Dani Bayes and Libby Hutton each added eight points in the victory.
Boise State was efficient offensively, shooting 54.2% from the field in the opening half. The Broncos also dominated down low, outscoring Bushnell 42-14 in the paint and outrebounding the Beacons 52-24.
