
Broncos Notch Road Sweep at Nevada

RENO, Nev. – Boise State volleyball cruised past the Nevada Wolf Pack on the road in Reno, collecting its ninth sweep of the season, 25-21, 25-15, 25-16, to improve to 15-8 overall and 7-5 in Mountain West play.

Boise State outhit Nevada .314 percent to .092 percent, but the Wolf Pack had more kills, 39 to 33. However, the difference in the match was Nevada's 29 attack errors compared to six by the Broncos. The Blue and Orange also held an 11 to two advantage in blocks.

Set one proved to be the closest of the day as the teams traded five lead changes and were tied seven times. Trailing 15-14, the Blue and Orange took the lead for good with a 4-1 run. Boise State held off the Wolf Pack down the stretch to win it 25-21.
