Broncos Set for Cayman Islands Classic

WHAT'S NEXT: Boise State men's basketball will make its longest road trip of the season as the Broncos will travel to George Town, Cayman Islands, for the Cayman Islands Classic. The three-day tournament tips off Sunday as the Broncos face Hampton at 9 a.m. MT. All games can be streamed on FloCollege and heard on the Bronco Radio Network.
THE OPPONENTS: Boise State opens the tournament against Hampton (2-3), which will be the first meeting for the two programs. If Boise State defeats Hampton, they will face the winner of South Dakota State-Duquesne on Monday at 11:30 a.m. MT. The tournament championship game is on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. MT.
CAYMAN ISLANDS CLASSIC HISTORY: The Broncos were 1-2 in their last Cayman Islands Classic appearance in 2018. They opened with a loss to Creighton before bouncing back with a victory against St. Bonaventure. They closed out the tournament with a narrow loss to Illinois State.
SCORING SURGE: Boise State has been firing on all cylinders offensively, averaging 86.0 points per game, which ranks 52nd nationally.
