LOGAN, Utah – Boise State couldn't overcome a cold night shooting from the field in an 80-61 loss at No. 22/21 Utah State, Saturday at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

The Broncos shot 35.6% from the field and couldn't keep the game close enough with an 8-4 run by the Aggies to open the second half. Boise State (16-8, 7-4 MW) trailed by double figures for the entire second half.

"Utah State had it going tonight with coming off two losses and being a strong team," said head coach Leon Rice. "They got it rolling from three and shot the ball really well. This has been a tough road stretch with a lot of big emotions, ups and downs but we're a tough team."
