WHAT'S AT STAKE
The two teams are each battling each other in the conference standings, with the Broncos (17-8, 8-4 MW) sitting at fourth place and the Wolf Pack (13-12, 7-5 MW) right behind in fifth. Boise State has won four-straight contests at Lawlor Events Center, dating back to a 63-55 win over Nevada on Feb. 14, 2018.Â
LAST TIME OUT
The Broncos used a dominant attack from beyond the 3-point line to take down Utah State, 73-57, on Wednesday. Boise State hit a season-high 13 shots from long range to take down the Aggies, claiming its fourth-straight victory in the process.Â
THE OPPONENT
The Wolf Pack will take on the Broncos after staving off a comeback attempt from San Diego State on Wednesday, defeating the Aztecs 72-71. The Broncos will be looking to avenge a loss that occurred earlier in the season on Jan. 3, when Nevada defeated Boise State 58-57. Audrey Roden, who scored 19 points in that contest, leads the Wolf Pack averaging a team-high 12.2 points per game.Â
GOOD MEMORIES
When the two teams last met in Reno on Feb. 2, 2023, Abby Muse blocked five shots to become Boise State's all-time career block leader. The senior, who enters this year's matchup with 253 career blocks, passed Stephanie Block (142) on the all-time list.Â
FINDING A GROOVE
Mary Kay Naro has been on a tear lately. The senior guard has dished out 26 assists over the last four games, including eight assists in two of her last three contests. Last week, the Beaverton, Ore., native, became the second player in program history to dish out 100 assists for four-straight seasons.Â
HEAT CHECK
Natalie Pasco hasn't showed any signs of slowing down. The sophomore hit five 3-pointers against Utah State, marking the fourth time this season she has drained five or more long range attempts. The Danville, Calif., native enters Saturday's contest ranked 13th nationally in 3-point percentage (44.4%), 18th in the total 3-pointers (67) and 22nd in 3-pointers per game (2.7).Â
