Three Former Broncos Selected for Mountain West 25th Season Indoor Track and Field Teams

COLORADO, SPRINGS, Colo. – Three former Broncos were selected for the Mountain West's 25th Season Indoor Track and Field Teams, the conference announced Wednesday.
 
The teams were selected by the MW 25th Season Committee as the conference looks to celebrate its 25th Season of excellence on and off the field of play.
 
Emma Bates
Bates was a two-time MW Champion in the women's indoor 3,000-meter, as well as a two-time All-MW selection in the event. She is also two-time NCAA Indoor First Team All-American in the women's 3,000m and 5,000-meter, earning both honors in 2014. During her final season of indoor track and field, Bates set school records in the mile (4:42.49), 3,000m (9:13.63) and the 5,000-meter (15:50.78). She still ranks fourth in school history in those three events.
 
Alexis Fuller
Fuller was a three-time NCAA Indoor All-American and seven-time All-Mountain West Indoor Track and Field Selection. Fuller won six Mountain West Indoor Championships over four seasons at Boise State, including the distance medley relay (2016-19), the 800-meter (2016) and mile (2018). She was a member of the distance medley relay team that still holds the school record in the event with a time of 10:55.42 in 2019.
 
Allie Ostrander
Ostrander was a three-time MW Female Athlete of the Year, the only athlete to win the award three times in conference history. She was a four-time NCAA Indoor All-American and a four-time MW Champion. Ostrander won titles in the distance medley relay in 2016-2019, as well as the 3,000m in 2019. She also was a NCAA National Runner-Up in 2018 in the 3,000-meter. Currently, Ostrander still holds the school record in multiple events in the program's top-five performance list, including the mile (4:35.79), 3,000m (8:54.27), 5,000m (15:16.38) and the distance medley relay (10:55.42).
