Women's Tennis To Face No. 24 Wisconsin and DePaul

WHAT'S NEXT: Boise State will travel to Madison, Wis., to take on Wisconsin on Friday, March 1, followed by a match against DePaul on Saturday. Both matches will take place in Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
IN THE RANKINGS: Wisconsin came in at No. 24 in the most recent ITA rankings and has two players ranked in singles. Maria Sholokhova is ranked at No. 86 while Xinyu Cai sits at No. 123. The match against Wisconsin will be the second Top 25 team the Broncos will face this year after taking on No. 21 Washington on Feb. 2, marking the first time the Broncos have competed against two Top 25 teams under head coach Beck Roghaar.
MAKING HISTORY: Head coach Beck Roghaar will set a record this weekend for the most matches coached in Boise State women's tennis history. He currently sits at 274 matches coached and is chasing Mark Tichenor for the No. 1 spot at 275 matches.
SCOUTING THE BADGERS: Wisconsin enters the weekend with a 6-2 record, defeating UCF 4-2 the previous weekend on Feb. 18. The Badgers currently lead the all-time series against the Broncos 2-0.
SCOUTING THE BLUE DEMONS: DePaul enters the weekend 8-5 with a current three-match winning streak. The streak includes victories over Illinois State (Feb. 18), Connecticut (Feb. 23) and Butler (Feb. 25). The Blue Demons won the only matchup between the two teams, defeating the Broncos 5-2 on Jan. 31, 2010.
NEARING 10: Joana Baptista, Pauline Ernstberger and Bhakti Shah are all nearing 10 singles wins this season and could reach the mark during this weekend's matches. Baptista, Ernstberger and Shah currently sit at eight victories, with winning percentages of 66.7%, 65.4% and 57.1%, respectively.
