MADISON, Wis. – Boise State lost to DePaul 4-3 in a close contest Saturday afternoon at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.

The Blue Demons (9-5) jumped out to an early lead over the Broncos (2-6) after clinching the doubles point with victories on courts one and two.

Ariadna Briones Ginesta evened the score for Boise State, claiming the first singles' victory of the match 6-1, 6-3 over Mayya Perova. DePaul claimed the next two singles' wins on courts five and two to make the overall score 3-1.

Pauline Ernstberger fought back on court one after dropping the first set to take the victory over Hannah Smith 2-6, 6-3, 6-1. Joana Baptista followed not too long after, defeating Yuliya Kizelbasheva 1-6, 6-2, 6-3 on court three to tie the match for the Broncos.
