CEDAR CITY, Utah - Boise State gymnastics was edged, 196.275-196.150, against Southern Utah on Friday night.
 
Senior Emily Lopez won the bars, matching her season-best score of 9.950. Junior Elaina McGovern earned a season-best 9.775 on the apparatus, while senior Courtney Blackson matched her career-high score of 9.925, placing second. The Broncos totaled 49.200 on the apparatus, their highest team score of the meet.
 
Lopez also tied for first on beam, scoring a 9.875. Blackson led the Broncos on vault, recording a season-best 9.950 and finishing first on the apparatus, while McGovern scored a career-high 9.725. The Broncos are now 6-3 on the season.
