CEDAR CITY, Utah - Boise State gymnastics was edged, 196.275-196.150, against Southern Utah on Friday night.

Senior Emily Lopez won the bars, matching her season-best score of 9.950. Junior Elaina McGovern earned a season-best 9.775 on the apparatus, while senior Courtney Blackson matched her career-high score of 9.925, placing second. The Broncos totaled 49.200 on the apparatus, their highest team score of the meet.

Lopez also tied for first on beam, scoring a 9.875. Blackson led the Broncos on vault, recording a season-best 9.950 and finishing first on the apparatus, while McGovern scored a career-high 9.725. The Broncos are now 6-3 on the season.

Courtney Blackson won the vault with a season-high 9.950. She matched her career-high of 9.925 on bars, finishing second.
Elaina McGovern tied for second on floor (9.875) and posted season-highs on bars (9.775) and vault (9.725).

Emily Lopez scored 9.950 on bars, matching her season-best. She is the only Bronco to post a 9.950 on bars this season.
Lopez notched her third win of the year on bars, extending her career total to 10. She tallied a win on beam, tying for first with a score of 9.875. This was her second beam win of the season, putting her career total at five. The senior has five total wins this season and 21 in her career, both team-highs.
Courtney Blackson's 9.925 on bars marked a season-high and tied her career-high. The senior also a season-best on vault, scoring 9.950, which is Boise State's best vault score of the year.
