Quotables
- One thing for sure, our team doesn't have any quit in them," said head coach Beck Roghaar. "It was a really great performance to come back from dropping the doubles point and stay true to the mission to find the four points we need in singles to get the win against a really tough and savvy San Jose State team. There's definitely a reason they were 8-1 coming into this match, and it took great commitment from our team to get the job done today, to start off conference play with a solid win, and now get ready for our match on Sunday against San Diego State. We need Bronco Nation out at 11 a.m. on Sunday to create an electric home atmosphere.
Notables
- Ernstberger collected her 12th victory of the year, Discenza and Briones Ginesta earned their 11th victories, and Heffernan her eighth.
