Tyson Degenhart and Max Rice named CSC Academic All-District

Degenhart, Rice Earn Academic Honor

BOISE, Idaho – Tyson Degenhart and Max Rice were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, the organization announced this week. Both are eligible to be voted to the organization's Academic All-District team.

This is the second-consecutive season both have been honored by the CSC.

Degenhart is a junior from Spokane, Wash., studying business with a 3.954 GPA. He was named to the All-Mountain West first team this season while averaging a team-high 16.7 points per game on 50.3% shooting from the field.

Rice concluded his Boise State career this season and owns a 3.546 GPA while majoring in interdisciplinary studies. The Boise, Idaho, native was an honorable mention All-Mountain West selection this year and scored 401 points on the season.

The Broncos reached the NCAA Tournament for the third-straight season – the first time the program has done so – with a 22-11 record this season. Boise State was second in the Mountain West with a 13-5 record and won four games over ranked opponents.
